Real unemployment greatly exceeds 10%

According to the United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics, using the measure of total unemployed, plus all marginally attached workers, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, 17.5 percent of the civilian labor force is unemployed.

17.5 percent.
