Obama v. Palin

I'm not really a fan of Sarah Palin. But, I am a fan of honesty and fairness.

Listening to the media criticism of Palin, I hear neither honesty nor fairness.

For example, much has been written about how bad a presidential nominee Palin would be in 2012. In the words of the now infamous Newsweek cover, "She's bad news for the GOP - - and for everyone else, too".

In fact, in test match ups against Obama, Huckabee gets 44%, Romney gets 43% and Palin gets . . . 43%. In other words, there is no significant difference between the performance of the three leading potential Republican presidential candidates.

But, don't expect facts to get in the way of the media criticism of Sarah Palin.
