Six year sentence for terrorism?

"Two Miami brothers cast as lesser players in a plot to destroy Chicago's Sears Tower and bomb FBI offices have received relatively light prison sentences. U.S. District Judge Joan Lenard on Wednesday sentenced Burson Augustin, 24, to six years in prison, and Rotschild Augustine, 26, to seven years. Prosecutors sought maximum 30-year sentences for both men."

Only six years for plotting to blow up the Sears Tower, supporting al-Qaida and conspiring to wage war on the United States.

Less credit for "time served" and "good behavior".

Does anyone think this will dissuade anyone from terrorist activity?
