Morale down in Afghanistan

"Morale has fallen among soldiers in Afghanistan, where troops are seeing record violence in the 8-year-old war, while those in Iraq show much improved mental health amid much lower violence, the Army said Friday."

When you send soldiers into battle without a clearly defined mission and without a clearly defined goal, morale goes down.

When you tell soldiers that the commander in chief still doesn't know what he wants you to do or why he wants you to do it, and he'll get back to you on that as soon as he figures it out, but you need to go into battle today and risk your life anyway, morale is destroyed.
