Now that the election's over . . .

. . . I can stop pretending.

"President-elect Barack Obama has yet to attend church services since winning the White House earlier this month, a departure from the example of his two immediate predecessors. On the three Sundays since his election, Obama has instead used his free time to get in workouts at a Chicago gym."

He claims that he's not going to church because it would cause undue stress on other churchgoers, due to the large security detail that would be involved. You see, Obama's a "giver"....

Besides, why go to church when you're God? It's redundant.

Nothing new here. What is the letter after his name? Oh yeah, it's a "D." YOUR guy J.F. Kerry, made certain there was a photo of him coming out of a Catholic church with the ashes on his forehead and the church steeple in the background, on Ash Wednesday, 2004.

A compliant, liberal, Bush hating media, all too glad to publish that photo. Everywhere.

The Good Catholic. John Kerry. (Forget that icky issue of favoring the slaughter of unborn babies - bringing it up is basically just a "swiftboating" tactic, right? How dare anyone question his Catholic faith!!).

I will personally mail $100 to any charity of your choice, if you can provide ANY evidence or proof that John Kerry went to an Ash Wednesday service in 2005. Or anytime since.

As for Obama, the most striking statistic which came out of this election -was that (in all Jewish and all Christian denominatins) the MORE frequent the service attendees, the higher percentage of McCain voters. As the frequency of Temple/Church service attendance drops, the higher the percentage of Obama voters. Atheists voted for Obama in a landslide.

Going to work out at a gym on Sundays - that is right in line with his "base." So why wouldn't he?
