Clinton at State: Am I the only one who thinks this is weird?

I don't believe it's a done deal.

But does anyone remember that the entire Obama critique of Hillary Clinton was based on foreign policy. Obama argued that Hillary voted for the war in Iraq, and therefore couldn't be trusted with U.S. foreign policy.

She demonstrated "flawed judgment" on Iraq.

Worse than her "flawed" judgment on Iraq, Hillary was "reckless" on Iran.

And, Hillary being "ready on day one" was less important than Obama having been "right on day one" about the war.

Of all the possible positions for Hillary in an Obama administration - - health care czar, Supreme Court justice, vice president in four years - - isn't the appointment of Hillary to the State department the most incongruous?

In the words of Bill Clinton, "This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I've ever seen."

I think Barry's trying to put Hillary in a box. She can't compete with him if she works for him....

Yeah, I see your point... but I'd like to see her in the Foreign Service. Let her loose on our enemies... I imagine she’d be a lot better than almost anyone Obama actually knows… and likes from his past…

I don't disagree with the appointment (if it happens).
I just think the reversal is stunning.
But, what does this guy actually believe?

Yes this whole thing is one big fairy tale.

What does He believe in? Himself. And power. And Him being the best and most qualified person to possess that power. And most probably, to quote that eminent professor Ayers, "communism with a little c."

It is fitting for Hillary to be Sec of State. Other than "dodging bullets in Bosnia," she has zero foreign policy qualifications to hold that position. She was a lawyer of questionable ethics in Little Rock; then first lady; then the junior senator from New York, who spent most of her senate career preparing to run for president, and then running for president.

Which is why it is fitting. We will have a Sec of State as qualified for that job as our president elect is qualified for his new job.

And their criticisms of each other during the campaign was just campaign talk. Underneath it, they are both anti-Israel Arabists. The murderous scumbag thug, Yassar Arafat, broke some sort of Guiness World record for being a welcome guest in BillyJeff's White House; and who can forget the affectionate hugs between Hillary and Mrs.Jew-Killer.

The next 4-8 years are going to be enormously entertaining. Not good, mind you. Awful. But entertaining, nonetheless.
