Obama's latest Gulf oil spill mistake

The Obama administration messed up during the BP oil well permitting stage. Then, they messed up during the BP oil well inspection stage. Next, they messed up during the BP oil well disaster response stage.

So, it's no surprise that the Obama administration is messing up the administration of the BP oil spill compensation fund.

The new administrator for damage claims from Gulf oil spill victims said Sunday it was his idea, not BP's, to require that anyone who receives a final settlement from the $20 billion compensation fund give up the right to sue the oil giant.

This Obama administration appointee is strong arming desperate needy people into waiving their right to full compensation in a court of law in exchange for reduced but immediate assistance.

The government should help the victims of this disaster get immediate partial relief without making them waive any right to sue for complete restitution.

There's no excuse for Obama's appointment of this pro industry bully.
