The 10 lessons in the 100 days of the Gulf oil spill?

As the Gulf of Mexico oil spill hit the 100-day mark Wednesday, clear lessons have emerged from the stained waters. Here are 10 big ones likely to influence future decisions on offshore exploration . . .

Number one should be "verify offshore oil drilling applications with the same level of scrutiny applied to home mortgage applications".
