Tax cuts for the wealthy

Candidate Obama promised to repeal them. Of course, Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their overwhelming majorities in Congress took no action to repeal the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.

President-elect Obama said he would let them expire. Of course, that required no action from Obama, Pelosi, Reid and their overwhelming majorities in Congress.

On Nov. 30, President Obama will meet with House and Senate leaders of both parties to will meet formally to negotiate the terms of extending the Bush tax cuts.

All Obama is doing now is negotiating the terms of the surrender.
