Pro-illegal lies

Upset that the Republicans won the 2010 Hispanic vote in Florida, columnist Myriam Marquez angrily warns Hispanic voters, "you're a U.S. citizen, but you 'look' Hispanic or you talk like one, and if [Republican governor elect] Scott gets his way, you could be hauled to jail if you can't produce your 'papers' to a cop during a traffic stop."

Of course, that's a lie. You're just going to be asked for your driver's license or other government issued identification, same as when you cash a check, or use your credit card, or get on an airplane, or check into a hotel . . .

These pro illegal immigrant folks should realize that they're going to look like fools and liars when all these Arizona-style laws are passed, and no one's doors are beaten down by storm troopers in the middle of the night. Nazis never said, "Excuse me, ma'am, may I see your driver's license?"
