Remember - - Michele Obama is a hospital administrator

I realize that prophets and messiahs are subject to different rules than the rest of us, so I never expect media scrutiny of The One and The Fashion Icon.

But, now that we're discussing health care reform, isn't it relevant that Michele Obama earned well over $1,000,000 in approximately 5 years as a private non profit hospital administrator (at a hospital largely dependent upon funding from the legislative bodies in which her husband then served)?

"In 2002, she began working for the University of Chicago Hospitals, first as executive director for community affairs and, beginning May 2005, as Vice President for Community and External Affairs. . . . She continued to hold the University of Chicago Hospitals position during the primary campaign, but cut back to part time in order to spend time with her daughters as well as work for her husband's election; she subsequently took a leave of absence from her job. According to the couple's 2006 income tax return, Michelle's salary was $273,618 from the University of Chicago Hospitals, while her husband had a salary of $157,082 from the United States Senate. "

I know I risk being reported to the White House for saying something "fishy".

(See post below)

But, this connection does seem to have foreshadowed Obama's attitude towards the public option and non profit coops.

It really is stunning that the man's wife is a hospital administrator, we're talking about health care reform, and no one mentions it.
