Remember the fairy tale?

About 90,000 U.S. troops remain in Iraq, and that number is expected to fall to 50,000 by the end of August under Obama's plan to remove all combat troops from the country.

Obama's promise to "get out of Iraq" has devolved into "Obama's plan to remove all combat troops from the country" yet leave 50,000 troops behind in permanent bases.

I don't remember that "plan" being the one promised during the campaign.

I do remember the one promised during the campaign being described as a "fairy tale".

It turns out, the fairy tale description was correct.
