AARP supports cuts in Medicare

"The politically potent AARP came out in support Wednesday of cutting $460 billion in Medicare to help pay for the Democrats' landmark health insurance legislation."

It makes you wonder about the politics going on behind closed doors, because I'm sure the AARP's rank and file membership disagrees. Of course, the AARP is not a democracy and is not regulated (unlike political parties and unions).
