Everything Obama does is wonderful

So says the Miami Herald:
President Barack Obama's success this week in pushing the New START nuclear arms treaty to the verge of Senate passage is but the latest of an extraordinary string of victories he has won in the seven weeks since Republicans gave his Democrats a "shellacking" in the Nov. 2 midterm congressional elections.

His biggest win was shepherding passage of an $858 billion bipartisan tax cut package tailored to help the economy rebound along with his political stature.

Almost as stunning was the historic bipartisan Senate vote to repeal the military's ban on openly gay troops.

Obama breaks his campaign promise to repeal the Bush tax cuts, drops the economic policy of his first two years, and caves in to Republican tax cuts and supply side economics . . . and it's Obama's "biggest win".

Obama dithers for two years on "don't ask, don't tell", and repeal is saved by Joe Lieberman and moderate Republicans . . . and it's Obama's "stunning" victory.

It must be wonderful to have a press corps so biased in your favor that they editorialize in front page news stories.
