Mir-Hossein Mousavi is the "moderate" who claims the Iranian presidential election was stolen from him. He's being made into a hero by the demonstrators and the international press. But, what does he believe? What does he stand for? What malkes him a "moderate"?
In fact, he's a longtime adherent of the Iranian regime, and Mousavi's supporters include some immoderate folks, including the "religious conservatives".
Before we make this guy a hero, or do something stupid in support of him, we need to figure out what he stands for.
