I'm not an expert, but why did millionaires invest 100% of their assets with Bernie Madoff?
What about the saying, "don't put all your eggs in one basket"?
What about the axiom, "diversify"?
It makes you wonder how these people were smart enough to get rich in the first place.
None of this excuses Madoff, but it makes you wonder.
