A gun used to shoot at a Marine Corps recruiting station in Chantilly, Va., this week was the same used in earlier shootings at the Pentagon and a Marine Corps museum, the F.B.I. said Thursday. Bullet holes were discovered Oct. 17 in windows of the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Va., 30 miles south of the Pentagon. Two days later, shots were fired into windows at the Defense Department in suburban Virginia. Ballistics reports previously linked those shootings. The Chantilly shooting occurred Monday night or early Tuesday.http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/29/us/29brfs-SHOOTINGATRE_BRF.html?src=twrhp
There seems to be a pattern of connected acts of domestic terrorism directed against the military. This news shouldn't be hidden on the bottom of page 11 of the newspaper.
