More than 2-million Americans are at risk of losing their extended unemployment benefits. An extension was enacted this summer and expires December first. Thursday the bill to extend them for three months failed in the house.http://www.todaysthv.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=128660&catid=2
Extending benefits for 3 to 6 months at a time, with no long term plan, and with no long range cut off date, and with no decision as to how the long term unemployed are to survive when it does eventually end, is far too typical of the ad hoc, faking it and making it up as you go along economic policy of this administration.
