The Pakistani Taliban added its voice to those of several terror groups who have vowed to avenge the death of Osama bin Laden, telling two news organizations separately it would continue the mission of the al Qaeda leader.
Waliur Rehman, the organization's deputy commander, told The Associated Press Monday his men would fight "with new zeal" against the West.
"We have the same target, program and mission," he said, according to the AP report published today. "Our enemies are NATO, Jews and Christians."
There is no reason to continue treating Pakistan as an ally for as long as the Pakistanis consider "NATO, Jews and Christians" to be their enemies.
By the way - - it's not American imperialism or American militarism or American economics that they want to kill. It's "NATO, Jews and Christians".
