Democracy in Egypt

Egyptian authorities on Friday announced that they have ordered the detention of Suzanne Mubarak, the wife of former President Hosni Mubarak.

State-run MENA news service reported that the former first lady would be detained, although it was not clear whether she would be held at the women's prison in Cairo.

The new "democratic" government of Egypt is going after all the members of the former president's immediate family.  That is not a sign of democracy.
