Pakistan: With friends like this . . .

The Pakistani government on Monday strongly condemned a series of airstrikes on Pakistani soil, including two that NATO officials said killed about 55 suspected insurgents over the weekend.

"These incidents are a clear violation and breach of the U.N. mandate" that governs the conduct of the U.S.-led international force in Afghanistan, the Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Pakistani officials also describe a sharp rise in suspected CIA drone attacks targeting Taliban sanctuaries in Pakistan, saying at least 20 U.S. drone strikes were carried out this month in the country's tribal regions.

Question: If Pakistan is our ally in the fight against the Taliban, why does Pakistan object to drone attacks on Taliban sanctuaries in the wilds of Pakistan?

Answer: Because Pakistan is not our ally.

Question: Then why do our leaders give Pakistan aid and support and trust?

Answer: There is no logical answer. Our leaders are fools. Pakistan is our enemy.
