L.A. record temps: More "proof" of global warming?

Lots of media "experts" are citing the recent ridiculously high L.A. record temperature as more "proof" of global warming.

Forecasters may never know just how hot it got in Los Angeles during a day of record-breaking heat: After the temperature soared to 113 degrees in downtown, the thermometer took the rest of the day off.

. . . The temperature of 113 recorded just after noon Monday was the hottest registered in the usually moderate downtown area since record-keeping began in 1877. The previous high of 112 was set on June 26, 1990.

Of course, no one mentions that the second highest temperature, a "mere" 112, was in 1990 - - before there was global warming.

Remember, it's hot in summer and cold in winter and pollution messes up the environment. Hot in summer doesn't prove the theory of global warming, and cold in winter doesn't disprove the theory of global warming. Beyond that, it's all politics.
